Alejandra Medina is an Economist in the Corporate Affairs Division of the OECD Directorate for Financial and Enterprise Affairs. She has worked extensively on capital markets and corporate governance issues, including corporate access to finance, institutional investors, ownership structure and market structures. Her recent work focuses on the functioning of capital markets and the conditions for growth companies to access market-based finance.
Prior to joining the OECD, Dr. Medina thought Corporate Finance at the University of British Columbia in Canada. She served previously as part of the policy advisor team at the Chilean Ministry of Finance; and worked as a financial analyst and corporate bond trader at BBVA Provida, a Chilean pension fund manager.
She holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of British Columbia (Canada), an M.Phil. in Financial Economics and a B.A. in Business Economics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica (Chile).

Dr Ang is the Deputy Secretary of Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth. He is concurrently appointed as Commissioner of Charities (COC) and Executive Registry of Co-operative Societies and Mutual Benefit Organisations (RCS).
Dr Ang previously served as the Chief Executive Director of People's Association and the Chief Executive Officer of the Health Promotion Board. He also held senior positions in the Singapore Police Force and Ministry of Home Affairs for more than 30 years.

Commissioner Jackson has extensive experience as a legal scholar, policy professional, and corporate lawyer. He comes to the SEC from NYU School of Law , where he is a Professor of Law. Previously, he was Professor of Law at Columbia Law School and Director of its Program on Corporate Law and Policy. Commissioner Jackson's academic work has focused on corporate governance and the use of advanced data science techniques to improve transparency in securities markets. He was the founding director of Columbia Law School's Data Lab, which used cutting-edge technology to study the reliability of corporate disclosures. Commissioner Jackson has written more than 20 articles in the nation's most prestigious legal and economics journals. His published work includes a study shining light on trading activity before the announcement of major corporate events, the first study of the effect of mandatory disclosure required by the JOBS Act on trading by individual investors, and the first comprehensive study of CEO pay in firms owned by private equity. In 2012, Columbia Law School students honored Commissioner Jackson with the Willis L.M. Reese Prize for Excellence in Teaching . He has testified on his scholarship before the U.S. Senate, and his work was previously the subject of rulemaking commentary before federal agencies, including the Federal Reserve and the SEC.
Before joining the Columbia Law School faculty in 2010, Commissioner Jackson served as a senior policy advisor at the U.S. Department of Treasury, working with Kenneth Feinberg, the Special Master for TARP Executive Compensation. In this role, he oversaw the development of policies designed to give shareholders a say on pay, improve the disclosure of executive bonuses, and encourage TARP recipients to more closely tie pay to performance. Earlier in his career, Commissioner Jackson practiced law in the executive compensation department of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz.
Commissioner Jackson holds two bachelor's degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of Business, a master's degree from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, and a law degree from Harvard Law School. He was born in the Bronx, New York, and is a lifelong Yankees fan.
Dr. Roger Barker is Head of Corporate Governance at the IoD, and managing director of Barker and Associates, a corporate governance advisory firm. Dr. Barker previously served as the Director of Corporate Governance and Professional Standards at the Institute of Directors for almost a decade. He is a UK Member of the European Economic and Social Committee (the EU advisory body), Senior Advisor to the Board of the European Confederation of Directors Associations (ecoDa) and Chairman of the ecoDa Education Programme for European Directors. He is Honorary Associate at the Centre
for Ethics and Law at University College London and a visiting lecturer at Said Business School, Oxford, and Cass Business School, London. Dr. Barker is the holder of a doctorate from Oxford University and the author of numerous books and articles on corporate governance and board effectiveness, including: 'Corporate Governance and Investment Management: The Promises and Limitations of the New Financial Economy' (Edward Elgar, 2017), 'The Effective Board: Building Individual and Board Success' (Kogan Page, 2010), and 'Corporate Governance, Competition, and Political Parties: Explaining Corporate Governance Change in Europe' (Oxford University Press, 2010). A former investment banker, Dr. Barker spent almost 15 years in a variety of equity research and senior management roles at UBS and Bank Vontobel, both in the UK and Switzerland.

Sovann is Senior Director at RSM's Risk Advisory division and heads the Board Leadership Advisory team. Stephen Chen is a private investor and has been in the financial sector since 2002. Dr. Bandid Nijathaworn is presently President and CEO of the Thai Institute of Directors, Visiting Professor, Hitotsubashi University, Tokyo, Japan, and member of the Council of trustees and the board of directors of Thailand Development Research Institute.
Dr. Bandid is a well-known economist with a long working experience in macroeconomic and financial issues, including at the IMF where he joined as a young professional in the IMF Economist program. He is widely recognized as a keen commentator on regional and global policy issues and contributes actively to policy discussion and capacity-building in the ASEAN region.
In June 2012, he was invited to join the IIF's Joint Committee on the Strengthening of the Framework for Sovereign Debt Crisis Prevention and Resolution and the Special Committee on Financial Crisis Prevention and Resolution, and was Chairman of the Thai Bond Market Association from May 2011 to April 2014.

David Gerald, a former Magistrate, Deputy Public Prosecutor and State Counsel in the Singapore legal service, is the Founder, President and CEO of Securities Investors Association (Singapore) or "SIAS". He founded SIAS in 1999 to successfully contest the freezing of shares of 172,000 Singapore investors in Malaysian companies by the Malaysian government.
SIAS, is the voice of retail investors in Singapore, actively promotes investor education at all levels in the community, investor rights and corporate governance programmes.
Mr Gerald received the Special Achievement Award by Singapore Exchange (SGX) in 2009 for championing individual investors' interest, advocating corporate governance and investor education.

She was a member of the Greater China Committee of the Hong Kong Retirement Funds Association (2014-2016) and a visiting scholar at the University of St Andrews (2012 - 2013).

Pru Bennett, Director, is Head of BlackRock's Investment Stewardship team, for the Asia Pacific Region based in Hong Kong. In this role, Pru is responsible for leading BlackRock's stewardship efforts covering engagement and voting in Asia, Japan, Australia and New Zealand on behalf of BlackRock’s clients globally and integration of extra financial issues in the investment process.

Mr. Sucharitakul is the Secretary-General of the SEC, Thailand. Concurrently, he serves as a member of the State Enterprises Policy Committee. Mr. Sucharitakul joined SEC at its establishment and devoted 13 years of his career to capital market development and supervision. He left the SEC in 2005 to take on several positions in private and public organizations, where he gained extensive experiences in policy making, consultancy and management.
Some of his previous posts include member of the Board of Governors of the Stock Exchange of Thailand, director of Thailand Futures Exchange, director of the Federation of Thai Capital Market Organizations, director of the Thai Institute of Directors Association, director of KASIKORNBANK Plc., executive chairman of KASIKORN Securities Plc. and KASIKORN Asset Management Company Limited, advisor to the President of Muang Thai Life Assurance Plc., and independent director of Big C Supercenter Plc. Shinbo Won, Director, is a member of the Investment Stewardship Team responsible for BlackRock's proxy voting and engagements in the Asia Pac region, covering South Korea, ASEAN and India.
