Clarification on The Business Times report today – 12 October 2011

Date: October 12, 2011

Dear Members of SIAS,

Some of you have called in to ask for clarifications on The Business Times (BT) article today regarding a statement made “Most of 70,000 SIAS members who had signed up so that SIAS would settle the CLOB matter on theirbehalf have since abandoned the organisation, leaving SIAS with less than 100 active members”.

We would like to clarify that this is an erroneous report by BT as our membership is very much intact at about 70,000 and no one has “abandoned” us. Please ignore the report and we have sought correction by BT immediately.
