In early 2021, Eagle Hospitality Real Estate Investment Trust (EHT) and its subsidiaries filed for bankruptcy in the United States under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code. SIAS has received a number of investor queries to seek further clarity. SIAS held a Q&A session with EHT, moderated by Mr. Mervyn Lim, Management Committee & Chairman, Audit Committee, SIAS. Mr. Bert Grisel, Managing Director, Moelis & Company , Ms. Jane Lim, Head of Corporate Trust from DBS Trustee Limited and Mr. Danny Ong, Partner from Rajah & Tann Singapore LLP participated the session to address the questions.
