Wei Kong was appointed Editor of The Business Times on 1 December 2016. As Editor, he oversees the editorial as well as non-editorial operations of The Business Times.

Wei Kong served as The Business Times’ Executive Editor from October 2014 to November 2016, and prior to that, was its News Editor for three years. He served as Associate News Editor from 2006 to 2011. He joined The Business Times in February 1998 from Dow Jones Newswires in Singapore, after starting his career in the Civil Service.

Apart from his involvement in several business and corporate governance awards and charities, Wei Kong also currently sits as a member of the Singapore Corporate Governance Advisory Committee.
