ESG Effort in SIASCOMMITMENT TO ESGSIAS is dedicated to sustainable practices, aligning with global and national goals. We%u2019ve established an ESG Roadmap, engaged staff, and implemented initiatives in environmental protection, social responsibility and governance. Our efforts aim to create a positive impact and foster a sustainable work environment. ESG ROADMAPOur ESG Roadmap is designed to positively impact and minimize negative effects through the ESG framework. To achieve this, we%u2019ve established a Green and Sustainable Sub Committee and internal SIAS ESG Taskforce. Both parties will evaluate our current ESG progress, develop strategies for enhancement, and create educational resources for retail investors. Additionally, the sub committee aims to develop policy recommendations to relevant authorities and integrate sustainability questions into SIAS%u2019 annual report Q&A process.STAFF ENGAGEMENTIn January 2024, we initiated ESG discussions at our annual staff retreat. Staff members were divided into groups to discuss sustainability practices, with a focus on the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). This engagement provided a platform for staff to contribute ideas on how SIAS can continue to be sustainable.ENVIRONMENTAL INITIATIVESTo kick start the initiative, staff are encouraged to bring their own water bottles and lunch boxes to work to reduce single-use plastics.SOCIAL INITIATIVESWe are committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within our workforce. Comprehensive guidelines are provided through our HR Handbook and Manual. Staff are encouraged to participate actively in monthly Work In Progress (WIP) meetings and halfyearly appraisals. Exit interviews are conducted to gather feedback from resigning employees. Fair and ethical treatment of employees is enshrined in the SIAS Code of Ethics.SIAS embeds ESG principles in its community programs, addressing social issues such as the prevention of investment scams and outreach to vulnerable groups. We invest in staff training and development, supported by an incentive program to encourage continuous learning and growth.GOVERNANCE INITIATIVESA skillsets matrix has been established for the management committee (MC) to ensure a diverse mix of expertise. Policies on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT) have been developed. Volunteer management policies and procedures, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) and a code of conduct, are in place. Regular internal reviews are conducted to ensure compliance with Charity CG and FSDF restrictions. Performance metrics are reported to the CEO to track our progress.SIAS%u2019s comprehensive approach to integrating ESG principles into its operations demonstrates our commitment to fostering a sustainable and inclusive work environment. Through continuous engagement, environmental and social initiatives, and robust governance practices, we aim to contribute positively to ESG outcomes and support the broader goals of sustainability.4825TH ANNUAL REPORT | 2023 - 2024
