The Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS) plays an active role in promoting and representing the interests of the banking community in Singapore. In doing so, ABS works closely with the relevant government authorities and other stakeholders towards the development of a sound financial system in Singapore. Since its establishment in 1973, ABS has promoted common understanding and trust among its members and projected a unifying voice on banking issues. It has brought its members closer together through various guidelines and banking practices as well as the support of projects of mutual benefit to face the challenges of the financial and banking communities in Singapore. Today, ABS has a membership of over 150 local and foreign banks.

SGLISTCOS

Established in May 2022, SGListCos is a dedicated association to represent the interests of all listed companies on the Mainboard and Catalist Board of the Singapore Exchange.  SGX and its community of listed companies have identified 3 key pillars or trending areas of interest for which Advisory Panels have been formed to exchange ideas and discuss action plans for the development of these areas.  The 3 key pillars will form the objectives and mission of SGListCos: (i) Thought Leadership and Advocacy, (ii)ESG; and (iii) Corporate Access and Investor Relations.

Singapore Business Federation 

As the apex business chamber, the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) champions the interests of the business community in Singapore in trade, investment and industrial relations. Nationally, SBF acts as the bridge between the government and businesses in Singapore to create a conducive business environment. ASME

The Association of Small & Medium Enterprises (ASME) is a not-for-profit organisation established in 1986 for entrepreneurs, by entrepreneurs. With wide-ranging services and programmes, ASME strives to equip member SMEs with the business knowledge and market opportunities to help them grow their businesses.
ASME, as the champion of a pro-enterprise Singapore, bridges the public and the private sectors to promote a more conducive business environment which facilitates the start-up, growth and development of a larger pool of SMEs. CFA

Founded in September 1987, CFA Society Singapore (formerly known as the Singapore Society of Financial Analysts – SSFA) is a professional society that brings together practitioners in the investment and fund management industry in Singapore.

Its principal objective is to promote and uphold professional standards and ethical practice in financial analysis and investment management in Singapore.

CFA Society Singapore is the first CFA Member Society of CFA Institute to be established outside North America and, today, it is the 7th largest member society of CFA Institute​ with more than 4,000 members.

CFA Society Singapore is a founding member of the Investment Management Association of Singapore (IMAS).

The institute of internal auditors

The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Singapore is the only professional body dedicated to the advancement and development of the internal audit profession in Singapore. For more than 40 years, we have been advocating the interests of the profession and remain committed to raising the profile and standing of the internal audit profession and developing the knowledge, skills and expertise of internal auditors. The Investment Management Association of Singapore (IMAS) was formed on 22 September 1997. It is a national representative body of investment managers spearheading the development and growth of the industry in Singapore.

By fostering high standards of professionalism and promoting exemplary practice among members, IMAS seeks to set the benchmark for the investment and fund management industry in Singapore.

The Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) is the national accountancy body of Singapore with over 36,000 ISCA members making their stride in businesses across industries in Singapore and around the world. ISCA members can be found in over 40 countries and members based out of Singapore are supported through 12 overseas chapters in 10 countries.

Established in 1963, ISCA is an advocate of the interests of the profession. The Securities Association of Singapore was registered and formed on 11 December 2001 which opens an exciting chapter for the stockbroking industry for companies from the securities and investment industry. The SAS actively engages regulators and policymakers and other players in the securities industry, on strategic, regulatory, technology and operational issues and systems affecting the industry.
It provides a common platform for corporate members to meet and discuss key issues concerning the industry and present collective views and proposals to regulators and authorities. Members include retail broking houses and foreign/institutional stockbrokers.
A new chapter was formed for Associate Members who offer Contracts for Difference (CFDs) and Foreign Exchange Margin Trading. The new chapter aims to promote CFDs and LFX Margin Trading among investors and uplift the high industry standards through public education by making sure they understand the investment products and risks involved.
