Malaysia Day is back for the 4th year!

In recent market melt-down, opportunities arise! The recent credit crunch and financial market meltdown has once again brought investment opportunities to investors. Stocks which are normally beyond the reach of investors have now become bright investment prospects. Some blue chips are even 40% – 50% down! Malaysian stock market has good offerings for investors willing to take a mid to long term view on their investments for good returns. It is therefore timely for SIAS to provide this Malaysia Day programme for you.
Programme
Year 2010 Market Outlook Presentation

Ms Sharon Wong
Director

Standard & Poor’s

Based on fundamentals, while we believe valuations are currently comfortable, there are fewer bargains in the market. As such, we anticipate returns in 2010 to normalize. We expect the FBM KLCI to end 2010 at 1400, representing an 11% gain in 2010 from the Nov. 30 closing level or 10.0% from our end-2009 target of 1270.

Panel Discussion on Malaysia Market and Global Trends.

Mr Edmund Seow
Technical Analyst

SIAS Research Pte Ltd

Edmund’s interest started in university where he avidly took modules of financial management in his freshman year. His first foray began as a trader, actively trading in the Hang Seng Futures Market. From there he moved on to trading Forex, futures and commodities in the Singapore and US stock markets.

His focus in Technical Analysis is a direct extension of his time as a trader. With proper guidance and knowing how to read the signs and signals, Edmund firmly believes that Technical Analysis is an integral part of any investor’s tool kit and that making a profit from the financial markets is not difficult.

Come listen to CEOs and top executives profile their companies as investment prospects!
