FAQs shareholders need to know for SingPost’s EGM

Dear SIAS members,

SingPost will be convening an EGM to seek shareholders’ approval for the proposed issuance of 107.6 million shares to Alibaba Investment Limited, which will increase Alibaba’s stake in SingPost from 10.2% to 14.4%.

The EGM will be held on 5 Jan 2017, Thursday 1030am at Suntec City Convention Centre.

Singapore Loses a Great Corporate Leader
Date: 17 November 2015

All of us at SIAS are deeply saddened by the sudden demise of Mr Kwek Leng Joo. We will remember him for his tireless efforts to promote good corporate governance by promoting corporate social responsibility over a considerable period of time and for putting CDL Group on a sustainability journey to become a green building leader. His support for SIAS initiatives to improve the lives of Singaporeans through investor education, will also be remembered. SIAS recognised him as a TopGun CEO. On behalf of the shareholders of CDL Group, we express our sincere condolences to his family and children. He will be greatly missed.
